Whilst dealing with the previous rescue another callout came in. Two walkers raised the alarm after coming across a male who had previously collapsed and was now struggling to walk. The 88 year old man had walked from the Derwentwater lakeshore up beyond Ashness Bridge then had been making his way down towards High Lodore Farm. The walkers started to help him walk down towards the farm before calling for help. The team attended and assessed the casualty before assisting him down to High Lodore Farm. The man was then taken to Keswick Minor Injuries Unit for a check up.
