A local resident was concerned about what he thought was a casualty high up on Gategill Fell that appeared to be lying down and occasionally waving. Three team members went to informants house and scoured the fellside with high powered binoculars whilst the rest of the team were on standby back at base. No person could be seen.  The most likely scenario was a tree or bush occasionally blowing in the breeze, it being much more distinctive against the white snow covering. A false alarm with good intent.
