North West Ambulance Service received a call regarding a woman who had slipped and injured her ankle. Both Keswick MRT and the Great North Air Ambulance were deployed. Crew from the air ambulance assessed and treated the casualty. Keswick team members made their packaged her onto a stretcher and carried her to the awaiting helicopter for transport to hospital.
