A man had gone ‘off piste’ whilst ascending the narrow winding path that goes up the front of Eagle Crag, becoming crag fast on steep ground above Heron Crag. Due to poor mobile phone coverage it took some effort to confirm his location but once done the team were quick to find him. The man was rope assisted to safe ground and accompanied back to the road.
