A woman was walking along the path beside the River Derwent, south of Grange, when she slipped and broke her wrist. NWAS requested Keswick team support as the incident location was off road and inaccessible by ambulance. The woman and her husband, had however managed to continue walking to the road, near Hollows Farm, where they were met by a Keswick team vehicle. After pain relief and splinting, the couple were given a lift by a passing walker to their car, for onward transfer to hospital.
