The North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) requested assistance to help with a 58 year old man who had slipped and suffered a head injury near the waterfall behind the Lodore Hotel. A team Land Rover was deployed but having arrived at the hotel was stood down as the ambulance crew had managed to walk the man to the road for further treatment.
