The team received a call via the police from a member of staff at the Low Briery Holiday Park. She had noticed a dog stuck on the steep river bank opposite and the owner trying to scramble down and retrieve the dog. Rather than place himself at risk she thought a safer option would be to get MRT involved. The team were quickly on scene and one of the dog handlers was lowered down. The cocker spaniel however was having none of it, and just before contact was made decided on a self-rescue by scrambling up to the top to its relieved owner.
