Cumbria Police alerted the team with a very worrying report of a 10 year old in the river in difficulty. Team members raced to base to attend the callout. One Keswick team member who lives close by went direct to the river. The team member said ‘the water was only thigh deep on me but he was only a little lad so was too strong for him to get back across to the shore so I just waded in and fetched him back across.’ One of our faster rescues!
