A son reported his 63 year old father was missing after they got separated on the path from Watendlath to Dock Tarn. The team went out to help search due to the apparent concern of the son. There followed a bit of a wild goose chase with team members taking probable paths around Borrowdale and various other walkers helping with sightings and reported meetings. Long story short…. the father, having searched for his son and completely fit and well, continued on their planned route via Stonethwaite and the Flock Inn in Rosthwaite before turning around and retracing his route back up to Watendlath where he was met by Brock and dog Rob. He then continued on foot back to their accommodation in Borrowdale for a reunite (and hopefully a ‘chat!’) with his son.
