On the walk back to Keswick after a day on the hills a woman tripped on the lakeside path near Friar’s Crag. The subsequent fall injured her shoulder and she was in severe pain and unable to move. Being only a short distance from Keswick MRT base the team quickly arrived, provided some strong analgesia before stretchering the woman to an awaiting ambulance.
