A 65 year old man dislocated his shoulder after tripping on the greasy pitched path on the north side of Grange Fell. Keswick team provided some strong analgesia and stretchered the man down the awkward path to the road for an ambulance transfer to hospital. With prior knowledge of the precarious nature of this slippy path, a number of team members used micro spikes which greatly improved grip during the tricky stretcher carry.
