At the end of July team members from Keswick travelled to Pinkston White Water Course in Glasgow to refresh their swift water rescue skills. Mike Gullen from Cockermouth MR team lead the course assisted by Keswick’s Dan Jordan. Two days were spent doing a lot of swimming, re-familiarising ourselves with known techniques and learning new ones so we are ready to react to water-related incidents in our area.
