graf

months-2016

Keswick MRT is primarily responsible for the area outlined on the map which includes England’s 3 highest mountains – Skiddaw, Helvellyn and Scafell Pike. For more extensive search operations we will operate anywhere in the Lake District or even further afield.

We are available at a moment’s notice 24/7 in all weathers to respond to a call for help. By the end of 2016 we had dealt with 3470 rescues which included 288 fatalities.

Our most recent rescue was on Tuesday 7th March 2017
